I just accidentally found out that there is a Blu-Ray release for N. America for Stellvia! Holy CRAP!
Sorry, one of my favorite shows from soundtrack to story, a well done science fiction show. End of this month finally brings me BD quality for it. WOW! Too excited, a marathon will be commencing. Pre-Ordered mine for "Day of Release Delivery" from Amazon for $30.29 (plus tax), which was another thrill for awesome price! Any other fans of this often overlooked show? |

In what is a first for me, I am planning to buy up a light novel series. In this case, the True Tenchi Muyo light novel series from Seven Seas Entertainment. I just got the first volume off Amazon and pre-ordered the second via Rightstuf. Now, waiting to save up on the third one.

Went to Barnes & Noble today and picked up NTR Netsuzou Trap Volume 5. I wasn't actually aware it came out yet, so I was happy to see it.
Also got lucky and found at Goodwill a book called InuYasha Profiles. Didn't know that Viz had published a character guidebook for the manga, so I was rather excited to get my hands on it. Especially since it was also in nearly brand new condition and, with being a paperback, it was only $1. It also proved that, once again, the employees at Goodwill seem to not know that such manga isn't for children but places it with the children books anyway. But that's an ongoing story that I'm sure happens at a lot of Goodwills, not just my local ones.

One Piece Season 9 Part 5 One Piece Film: Gold One Piece: Heart of Gold Underwater Ray Romano SAVE Edition (yeah I'm not spelling that) This finally gets me up-to-date with FUNi's OP release. (Yes I'm one of the poor suckers who keeps buying the individual sets to make sure everything matches.) I guess technically there's the Blu-ray release of movie 8 if I wanted to double-dip, but that was a pretty bad abbreviated version of the Alabasta arc to begin with. I really wish FUNi would take a chance on some of the other movies/specials, at the very least the Hosoda-directed movie 6. Sometimes I get on a kick to see if I can track down something out-of-print at a price I'd be willing to pay. For a while it's been the original Blu-ray release of Princess Jellyfish: while FUNi still has a DVD-only SAVE version in print, for whatever reason they never kept the original Blu-ray release available. I finally found an eBay seller who included images of the disc surfaces in the posting, and I wound up springing for it. Sure, I could have paid 4 times less for DVDs that are probably more than adequate, but where's the fun in that?
