Character A: Hmph, she's watching. She must have her doubts about me. Character B: You cannot mean it. That is not the case, I daresay. If I were to guess, could it not be due to some other emotion? Character A: Precisely why I do mean it. I can read her thoughts like the back of my mind. Becoming upset when she spoke of Character X was a critical mistake. Character B: I should have expected as much, Lord A. Truly, your vision befits one who sits upon the throne. Character A: Enough with the flattery. It's an obvious consideration that arose from my own slip-up. |
