This would be something very cool to attempt, but I would probably fail miserably and wouldn't have the patience to deal with it. Props to his uncle for making something so time consuming and cool.

Who needs to spend over $10,000 for life-size anime figurine?

It would be nice if paper has better elasticity make rounder forms though. Goku makes perfect example in his case because character design is angular than rounder female forms.
