It's not often that a japanese live action movie catches my eye, but I really do hope this gets an english subbed release on DVD or blu-ray somewhere in the world. I'd buy it in a heatbeat.

Curiously, shortly after the announcement of this film, the Japanese government announced that it would modify an existing ship that in the future would function like an aircraft carrier. Incredible coincidence.
