In response to complaints, several comments related to the porn actress have been removed. Unless I'm missing something, they seemed to be dramatically off-subject.

Well, it was a reference to a live action porn parody of Haganai. So while that does make it offtopic with respect discussion of the anime, there is an actual connection there as opposed to a completely non-sequiter reference to a random porn flick.

Man, by the end of this, I was like "this dude needs to pick a waifu already".
I think this show highlighted my experience with harem anime in general: harem anime is a lot like showing up to the horse races only to have the bookies come in and punch you in the face before you find out who wins.
(on that note, you know who has the best odds of winning, but the other ponies are pretty glorious in of themselves... Rika with her hair down was amazing and I hope she gets more doujinshi)
Anyway, we were about to get an answer on the Sena subject, but they pull the rug from under my feet before we have an actual response, much to my dismay.
Honestly, they should just get it over with and all sleep with each other.
I should stop watching these shows...
....
Can we have the third season now, please?

He needs to post one of Kobato when he finds out what they did to Sena's eroge in the Blu Ray version.

In spite of its flaws (both obvious and otherwise), that scene is just one out of many examples why I rate Haganai at the Masterpiece level. There are few if any anime that can use the personalities of their characters for comedy that effectively and it is possible they have broken new ground.
There is a lot of Yoroza-hate out there but like her or not she is one of the most engaging characters I have ever seen in anime.

I don't think any of us hate Yozora. We just like how this season finally had some of her BS backfire on her.

I'm not a Yoroza fan. Some of her anti-Meat stuff was just way too mean-spirited as far as I'm concerned.

While I disliked Yozora while she did some of those things, I actually like in a way how mean spirited it was. That is because the show did not glorify the actions, no it showed that Yozora messed up, that Yozora really has a problem. It is even pretty clear that Yozora and Sena are friends, and what issues would push someone to do things like make her friend believe her awful hairdo is good, or use psychology to trick them into doing something so ridiculous.

Well, in that case Rika and Yozora got so caught up in it that even they genuinely believed the result was awesome. That's why the both of them apologised to her for it later.
The fortune telling bit was pure cruelty, though. But even more so than even Yozora anticipated.

Yozora and Sena's relationship looked a lot like... bullying, actually.
I was a little weirded out when the show would hint that, despite all that, they were somehow friends (in this strange show where people in a club about finding friends don't seem to realize that they're all friends).
Not gonna lie: the game script reading stuff still made me laugh.

Okay, so I finally finished Haganai Next and I'm definitely ready for some Haganai Nexter. I really dug Yusa, I wish she hadn't been intro'd so late in the series. Same with Student Council Prez.
I really hope we get a full next season and not just some OVAs.

But not, interestingly enough, as far as Sena is concerned. She keeps coming back for more, doesn't she? And the yuri fantasies ...
