The staff for the television anime adaptation of Kyōsuke Nishiki's Li'l Miss Vampire Can't Suck Right (Chanto Suenai Kyūketsuki-chan) manga announced more cast, the theme song artists, and the October premiere on Wednesday. H△G will perform the opening theme song "Seishun no Silhouette" (Youthful Silhouette) and the ending theme song "Senkō Hanabi" (Sparklers) with the voice actress for the main character, Minami Tanaka. The video previews the opening theme:

The anime stars:
- Minami Tanaka as Luna Ishikawa, a second-year vampire transfer student at Kashinokidai High School who actually sucks at sucking blood
- Kenshō Ono as Tatsuta Ōtori, a second-year high school student at Kashinokidai who discovers Runa's secret and becomes her "Mama" so she can practice blood sucking
Sayaka Yamai (Dungeon People, Fantasy Bishōjo Juniku Ojisan to) is directing the anime at feel., Yuniko Ayana (BanG Dream! series, Given) is in charge of the series scripts, and Takuya Tani (Muv-Luv Alternative, Mysterious Disappearances) is designing the characters. Tomoki Kikuya (Hidamari Sketch) is composing the music. Lantis is producing the music.
Kadokawa released the manga in chapter format on the BookWalker Global site and other stores beginning on June 20.
Yen Press also licensed the manga and released the first volume on July 22. The company describes the manga:
Luna Ishikawa is a dark and mysterious vampire—or so she'd like her new classmates to believe. The truth is, while she may be one of the not-so-mythical bloodsuckers, she doesn't really live up to the hype. She's short and clumsy, and she can't even suck blood properly! So when her classmate Tatsuta Ootori discovers her little “drinking problem,” he can't help but lend a hand. Can he nurse Luna from the small, timid animal she is into a fearsome creature of the night?!
Nishiki launched the manga in Kadokawa's Monthly Dragon Age magazine in May 2021.
