Catalyst Game Labs Plans Kickstarter for My Hero Academia Miniature Game

Tabletop game producer Catalyst Game Labs announced on Wednesday that it will be running a Kickstarter campaign for a My Hero Academia miniature game. The announcement previews two miniature figures of My Hero Academia characters Izuku “Deku” Midoriya and Tomura Shigaraki charging at each other. Players can “select your heroes (or villains) and take the fight to the streets, all to prove your worthiness of the title of ‘Pro Hero’!”

According to the Kickstarter campaign's prelaunch website, two or more people can be play the game, with game sessions lasting about 40 minutes. Players can use three miniatures per game to complete missions. The game is currently set to feature the characters Izuku Midoriya (Deku), Katsuki Bakugo (Great Explosion Murder God Dynamight), Ochaco Uraraka (Uravity), Tenya lida (Ingenium], Shoto Todoroki (Shoto), Tsuyu Asui (Froppy), Minoru Mineta (Grape Juice), Eirjiro Kirishima (Red Riot), Yaoyorozu Momo (Creaty), and Fumikage Tokoyami (Tsukuyomi).

A “Dueling Box” starter box is also planned for the Kickstarter campaign. The box is set to include color-coded dice, terrain, and the above-mentioned character miniatures. The Kickstarter prelaunch page notes if stretch goals are met, additional characters such as All Might, dice, and terrain will be added to the game.

As of press time, the Kickstarter campaign has not yet announced a start date.
