The October issue of Kadokawa's Dengeki Daioh G magazine published the first chapter of Shion Kawakami's manga adaptation of Hitoma Iruma's Hitozuma Kyōshi ga Oshiego no Joshi Kōsei ni Dohamari Suru Hanashi (A Story of a Married Teacher Becoming Obsessed With Her Female Student) novel series on Wednesday. The manga features on the issue's front cover (seen right).

The novels' story centers on Itsuki Ichigohara, a married teacher in her late 20s. She gets to know one of her students named Rin Togawa, a pretty, gentle, and kind girl who is taller than her, as well as being 10 years younger. When Itsuki visits Rin out of concern for some of Rin's problems, Itsuki ends up making a move on Rin, which leads to them kissing on her bed. The story continues as they share their dangerous and forbidden relationship, filled with betrayal, unfaithfulness, and personal ruination, yet somehow still warm and intimate.

Iruma published the first volume with illustrations by Pushio Nekoyashiki in September 2024 under Kadokawa's Dengeki Bunko light novel label. The second volume shipped on January 10, and the third volume will ship on September 10.

Iruma launched the Adachi and Shimamura (Adachi to Shimamura) yuri novel series in Dengeki Bunko Magazine in 2013 with illustrations by Non (the magazine ended publication in April 2020). raemz took over the illustrations for the novel series with the 10th volume The novel series ended with its 12th volume in November 2024. Seven Seas began releasing the light novel series in English in June 2020. Moke Yuzuhara launched the manga adaptation in Kadokawa's Monthly Comic Dengeki Daioh magazine in May 2019. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English. The novel series inspired a television anime adaptation that premiered in October 2020. Funimation streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.

Yen Press also licensed Iruma's My First Love's Kiss (Watashi no Hatsukoi Aite ga Kiss Shiteta) novel series, and published all three volumes of the novels. Fly illustrated the novels.

Iruma's light novel series Denpa Onna to Seishun Otoko ran for nine volumes from 2009 to 2011, with illustrations by Buriki. The novels inspired a television anime in 2011, and NIS America released the anime on Blu-ray Disc and DVD in 2013 under the title Ground Control to Psychoelectric Girl.

Iruma also wrote the Yagate Kimi ni Naru: Saeki Sayaka ni Tsuite (Bloom Into You - On Sayaka Saeki) spinoff novel of Nio Nakatani's Bloom Into You (Yagate Kimi ni Naru) manga. The novel spinoffs have three novels, and Seven Seas published all three novels.
