D3 Publisher Announces BadBoy Brother Game for Switch, PC
posted on by Alex Mateo
D3 Publisher announced the BadBoy Brother (The Yankee Brother) game for release on Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam on November 27. The company streamed an English-subtitled trailer:
The game will get a physical release for Switch in Japan and digital releases in the West. The game is part of D3 Publisher's "Simple" series.
The publisher describes the game as a "crazy" beat-'em-up roguelite (a style of game that resets progress upon loss). Up to two players can control Kitahamahushimi High School students Renmaru and his partner Batsuya, among other characters, as they brawl against Doshu delinquents, who have harassed a female student. In addition to brawling, the game features elements of mahjong and slot machines. Players can power up with an alias system, and coins can pay for unlockable permanent upgrades.
