Who would you stun?

Shogakukan's official merchandise brand Shogakukan Collection revealed its Shokore 2025 collection on September 1. The new merchandise items are a series of clear pouches from Shogakukan manga series Doraemon, Detective Conan, Frieren: Beyond Journey's End, Don't Call It Mystery, Orb: On the Movements of the Earth, The Apothecary Diaries, Blue Giant, Firefly Wedding, and Robō no Fujii.

Following the reveal, fans quickly noticed one of the Detective Conan pouches featured a design protagonist Conan Edogawa (real name Shinichi Kudo) shooting his infamous stun-gun wristwatch. The spotlight was placed on the pouch when an X (formerly Twitter) user posted an image of the pouch with an acrylic stand of an idol being shot by Conan. The post reads, "This Detective Conan pouch is so fun because you can recreate the scene of your stan being shot with the stun-gun!"

A handful of X users quote reposted the initial post with their own take on Conan shooting his stun-gun wristwatch at acrylic stands of idols, celebrities, and manga characters. The quote reposts, though, feature the Detective Conan character either missing the acrylic stand, having the dart be blocked, or, in one case, made to appear as if Conan is jealous of a high school couple.
