Studio Colorido Produces New Pokémon Anime Short

The Pokémon Company began streaming a new "POKÉTOON" anime short on Friday. The short is titled "Megahanasenai ne Garura" (I Can't Take My Eyes Off Her, Can I Kangaskhan).
The short focus on Yurado, who admires her mother who is a Pokémon battle commentator. She and her Pokémon Kangaskhan work to build a large diorama one day while her mother is working.
The cast for the short includes Rina Gorōmaru as Yurado, Risa Shimizu as Karimna, Cocoro Kikuchi as child Kangaskhan, and Atsuko Yuya as mother Kangaskhan.
Takuya Hosogane directed the short and wrote the script at Studio Colorido Kyoto. Rapparu was the character designer, Nugiko Kutsushita was the art director, UNGUMMED was the concept artist, Andrew Prahlow composed the music, and cubesato was the foley. RUDO and mimoid were the animation producers.
The POKÉTOON series of anime shorts debuted in June 2020 and so far has 17 entries. The shorts each focus on a single Pokémon.
