Ill be honest I dont get it. VD was a softcore, borderline hardcore at times (OVA) yuri show. Due to console restriction of not having anything rated AO, you couldn't release an uncensored game on consoles or handhelds. And looking at the rating D, its not even rated at the highest Japanese rating which I think Z.
So whats the point of releasing a game that doesn't feature the only thing that made the anime worth watching? |

^ They clearly wanted to kickstart another jiggly hack-n-slash franchise akin to Senran Kagura, except this time they made it a cross-media thing with the anime and a smartphone game all around the same time. Kenichiro Takaki's games have always been heavy on the fanservice without ever featuring any real nudity, so many people were quite surprised that the anime even featured actual nudity to begin with.

I sure hope that Bhikkhuni gets an English release sometime soon since I really enjoyed Mermaid and I would like to find out what the game is like.

You might not believe it but this game actually has a somewhat interesting plot. Anyway, I hope it does get an English release. |
