I'm looking forward to this. It will actually be the first time I've read the source material before watching the anime.

Keep in mind, if this ends up like the other Project Itoh films, we should get a US theatrical release in August 2017.

I'm quite ready...to be disappointed that is. After the last two Project Ito films, I don't have hope for this, but maybe they're saving the best for last?

I'm looking forward to this only because Murase is directing this. I liked his work for Witch Hunter Robin and Gangsta. despite the fact both series left a lot to be desired, he really knows how to direct with what he's got. I especially LOVED his work for Ergo Proxy which is easily his best directorial effort and one of the best post-apocalyptic, on-the-road sci-fi anime series of all time. He's such an underrated director and I sincerely hope this film will be good.

Yup I really like his work, one of my favorites, so I've been especially looking forward to this one of the three movies too, for the same reason. I hope he wants and gets to continue to direct more stuff after this movie is finally complete.

Which I have I said he was how to direct what he's got, script included. I'm aware the director isn't necessarily responsible for writing unless he's involved with the script. ^__^

Same. I hope he does another original series instead of an adaptation, I believe he is someone who has great ideas and knows how to execute them. Of he does do an adaptation, it would be teat if he helms Battle Angel Alita for anyone ever makes a full anime series out of that, though that would be wishful thinking lol.
