I wonder if Boruto will air as 13 episode seasons or a long continuous season? I can't imagine it drawing the same interest. Many still watching Naruto now are doing so just for completeness but wouldn't be interested in a new show.

I agree. I think it will be a 13 ep/seasonal type since it's not a weekly manga. Since most of Shonen Jump's weekly series are on a 25 episode anime.

I think it will at least start out that way as a method for testing whether it is worth committing to more. It's entirely possible that the audience won't carry over, but then again Shippuuden is still going despite the main story finishing a while ago.
