I'd rather not assume the worst, but it was reported that she "fell from the upper floors" of the hotel at where she was discovered, as high up as the 20th. |

Police are investigating a possible suicide. We'll probably never know. She was an amazingly talented woman and TRUSTICK was one of the best bands IMO. |

I literally come on here to check on the recent anime news and I see this as the recent news. WTF! I need to know what led to this because this one hurts. Why Sayaka? I can't listen to the DR3 OP song or any of her songs the same again because its going to hurt. My day is done now. I'm sick.

Very much appreciated her work in both Idoly Pride (where she was one of the most convincing pop idols in recent memory) and in SAO, and yeah, the irony involved with the former isn't lost on me.
I'll wait and see if any more details come out before assuming it was suicide, and I encourage others to do the same. |

Just for the record, this even really sucks if you take into account that Anna's voice actress in the Chinese dub also died, through of cancer in that case.
In any case, this really sucks on many levels... |
