Quite dissapointing announcemet. I hoped that the game Koei teased was a completely new IP, not anotther collaboration.

Hmm, I think this could be better than the 3DS game, actually. I don't think the sheer calibre of this series can be fit into the restricting capabilities of the 3DS. I'm starting to think it doesn't fit in well with games and live-action movies that can't give it justice unlike a lot of other anime, sadly.

In all honesty I hope it's exclusive to PS4. Maximum graphics and gameplay possibilities without being gimped for last gen systems or handhelds. But this is Japan we're talking about, it'll be for PS3 with a PS4 port with absolutely no differences. |

I know, I feel you  I'd rather they go away from the series a bit and make it a mystery game or something. Would be less of a disaster. They've already proven that killing Titans using buttons is really boring with the 3DS game (minus the online tribute game anyway).

If it actually does turn out to be a Musou game (which I dont think the series fits that gameplay style exactly), I'd hope that whatever they eventually wind up going with is focused on the technical skill & speed associated with their zipline gear outside of QTE commands.

I predict PS4/PS3/Vita in Japan, with only the PS4 version getting a retail release in the west, with the other two digital only.
