Is putting Akuma in the game an apology for bailing on TekkenXStreet Fighter?

Ahaha. If that were the case, TekkenXSF wouldn't already be complete. Harada already commented that the majority of TekkenXSF is already complete and the art assests were being finalized. The main problem of releasing the game is actually finding the right time to release it. If you release that game near SF V's and Tekken 7's launch, you won't make much money from TekkenXsf.

A little surprised that you didn't comment on Rugal, who is from The King of Fighters (that was intentional). Anyway, if a new Tekken X Street Fighter would be released, as a producer I'd wait to receive how well the fans feels about the new Street Fighter and Tekken newcomers and how well the the veteran characters were received.

"King of Fighters."
Who...? I kid, I don't play King of Fighters. Now if a Guilty Gear character guest started in Tekken 7, THEN I would buy Tekken 7.

oh shit this is great, i mean i'd prefer tekkenxstreetfighter more but if akuma is gonna be deeply involved in the tekken storyline and it wont be some one time thing that would be amazing.

i mean its totally up akuma's alley as well since he's obsessed with finding strong fighters and the mishima family is made entirely of powerful fighters that'll give him a run for his money.

It's not just not that, hespoiler[ is indebted to Kazumi Mishima] per the trailer. Sospoiler[ she's asking him to take out Heihachi and Kazuya] if push comes to shove. But yeah talk about a crossover. If only we could see something from Capcom and Netherealm studios talking about Street Fighter vs. Mortal Kombat.

Maybe the first crossover didn't do all that well

We already had that it was called DC Universe vs Mortal Kombat.
