Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san Anime Listed With 12 Episodes

The official website for the television anime of Sōichirō Yamamoto's Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san (Takagi-san, the Master of Teasing) manga revealed the details on the anime's Japanese home video release on Tuesday. The Japanese Blu-ray Disc and DVD release will have six volumes that will ship from March to August, for a total of 12 episodes.
The anime premiered within the "Anime no Me" programming block on Tokyo MX on Monday at 11:00 p.m. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime as it airs in Japan, and Funimation will stream the series with an English dub.
Hiroaki Akagi (Hina Logic - from Luck & Logic) is directing Karakai Jōzu no Takagi-san at Shinei Animation (Elegant Yokai Apartment Life, Doraemon). Michiko Yokote (RIN-NE, Genshiken, ReLIFE) is handling the series composition, and Aya Takano (Himouto! Umaruchan, Kimi no Koe o Todoketai, Polar Bear's Café) is designing the characters for animation. Takuji Mogi (And you thought there is never a girl online?) and Natsuko Kondou (animation director for Natsume's Book of Friends seasons 3 and 4, Durarara!!×2 Shō) are the chief animation directors.
