Boogiepop and Others Anime Premieres With 1-Hour Special

The staff and cast for the television anime of author Kouhei Kadono and illustrator Kouji Ogata's Boogiepop and Others (Boogiepop wa Warawanai) light novel series revealed on Sunday that the anime will have a one-hour premiere special. The premiere special broadcast will air the first two episodes together.
The anime will premiere on AT-X at 9:00 p.m. on January 4. It will then run on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, Sun TV, and BS11 later that night, followed by TV Aichi on January 11. The AbemaTV service will also stream the premiere special on January 4.
Shingo Natsume (One-Punch Man, Space Dandy both seasons, ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) is directing the new anime at Madhouse. Tomohiro Suzuki (One-Punch Man, Tiger & Bunny, ACCA: 13-Territory Inspection Dept.) is writing and supervising the series scripts, and Hidehiko Sawada (key animator for One-Punch Man, Redline) is designing the characters. The musician kensuke ushio (A Silent Voice, DEVILMAN crybaby, Liz and the Blue Bird) is composing the music.
