Various generations of Pokémon hand-carved from root vegetables

"Oki," a Japanese sushi chef living in Osaka, Japan, updated his blog last Friday with images of Pokémon crafted from carrots, sweet potatoes, and white radishes. With those vegetables, food coloring, and toothpicks, the chef carved figurines of Pikachu, Electrode, Wobbuffet, Mamoswine, Magikarp, and Azurill. The blogger states the carvings were presented to a delighted kindergarten class.

Many images of ships and characters from the Star Wars films also appear on the blog.
