Yahtzee, Monopoly Yu-Gi-Oh! Editions Planned for U.S.

posted on by Lynzee Loveridge

4K Media announced on Wednesday that entered a licensing agreement with USAopoly who will produce Yu-Gi-Oh! editions of the classic Monopoly and Yahtzee tabletop games. The company is also planning banks and puzzles based on the franchise.

The company will utilize the original animation artwork from the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, as well as Yu-Gi-Oh! GX, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Yu-Gi-Oh! Zexal, and the latest Yu-Gi-Oh! Arc-V to create coin banks and puzzles for North American consumers. The products will be introduced at retail in 2016. The Monopoly and Yahtzee games will go on sale in 2016 and 2017.

The original Monopoly game focused on, as the name suggests, real-estate and resource monopolization. The classic board game has received plenty of property tie-in editions from The Walking Dead to The Nightmare Before Christmas multiple Pokémon versions.
