World Trigger's Border Units Inspire Hoodies & Scarfs

Anime News Network's merchandise coverage sponsored by Tokyo Otaku Mode.

Following the earlier release of a Tamakoma branch uniform-inspired jacket, World Trigger fans now have more options to show off as two more styles of hoodies based off the Arashiyama and Tachikawa units hit cosplay shop ACOS on November 17.

There are two sizes available, medium and large, for 8,500 yen (US$84.60) each. Alongside the jackets, ACOS previews three matching scarf designs for each of the previous groups, plus one for the Kazama unit, each complete with an embroidered World Trigger simplified logo and the branch/squad name. They'll also be available on November 17 for 3,000 yen (US$30) each. ACOS is accepting pre-orders for the hoodies and scarfs on their website.

ACOS released the Tamakoma branch jacket on May 19, however it is currently sold out.

Daisuke Ashihara's original World Trigger manga debuted in 2013's 11th issue of Japan's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine. Viz Media added the series to its digital anthology version of Weekly Shonen Jump, and also publishes the manga in print. The first television anime season from Toei Animation premiered in October 2014, followed by a second season in October 2015 for a total of 73 episodes. Crunchyroll streamed the English sub of the anime as it aired in Japan. Hulu also streamed the series and the English dub, commissioned by Toei Animation, premiered at Anime Expo 2015.
