C-Control and Linebarrels of Iron Released Monday

Also, second Blu-ray volumes of Cowboy Bebop and collected Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

On Monday October 14, MVM will release the TV series C – Control – The Money and Soul of Possibility (right). In the story, an economics student named kimimaro in modern-day Japan encounters Masakaki, a shady man from the Bank of Midas. Masakaki offers kimimaro some lending money and a chance to be a player in a parallel world "Financial District" — with kimimaro's future potential as collateral.

MVM is also releasing the 26-part mecha series Linebarrels of Iron (left). It was produced by Studio Gonzo and broadcast in Japan in 2008. From the anime-on-line site:

"Kouichi dreams of being a hero, but in reality he's a punching bag for every bully on the block. His life flatlines when the mysteriously naked Emi crashlands on his pitiful existence, thrusting Kouichi into the middle of an intergalactic showdown between rival races of self-regenerating Machinas."

Also on Monday, Anime Limited is releasing Part 2 of its Blu-ray edition of Cowboy Bebop (right), carrying the second half of the acclaimed SF series. It comes with a limited edition slipcase, the "Ein's Summer Holiday" short and a 40 page booklet.

Manga Entertainment is releasing the second half of its Blu-ray collected edition of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood (left). It carries parts 36 to 64 of the series.
