Cardfight!! Vanguard

Aichi Sendou is shy, timid and just trying to sneak through his third year of middle school without being noticed. His one love is designing decks for the worldwide popular card game "Cardfight!! Vanguard" based around a single card given to him when he was younger. However when that special card is stolen Aichi is forced to start playing the game and his world is suddenly turned upside down.

Cardfight!! Vanguard is a popular card game created as a collaboration between Yu-Gi-Oh! R manga creator Akira Itō, the original Duel Masters technical advisor Satoshi Nakamura, and Bushiroad President Takaaki Kidani. The first anime series was green-lit back in July 2010 and has since spawned three manga adaptations, a live action drama, two video games and soon Bushiroad Inc. will release Future Card Buddyfight with trading card game, anime and manga.

Hatsuki Tsuji directed the television series at TMS Entertainment. Tsubasa Yonaga stars as the main character Aichi Sendo and JAM Project (MazinKaiser, Super Robot Wars games and anime) performs the initial opening theme song "Vanguard." The first season has 65 episodes and was followed by the 39 episode second season "Cardfight!! Vanguard: Asia Circuit Hen" and there is the currently running "Cardfight!! Vanguard: Link Joker Hen".

Hanabee's release will be the entire first season in several parts, the first of which will contain 13 episodes on DVD with original Japanese audio / subtitles and English dub. Part 1 does not have a set release date yet.
