On Monday February 24, Manga Entertainment will release the first volume of Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic on Blu-ray (pictured) and DVD, carrying the opening 13 episodes of the series.

Magi, which adapts Shinobu Ohtaka's fantasy adventure manga, re-imagines tales from the classic story One Thousand and One Nights (also known as Arabian Nights). Director Koji Masunari (Read or Die, Welcome to THE SPACE SHOW) helmed the 25-episode anime adaptation at A-1 Pictures. Toshifumi Akai (Kokoro Connect, Sound of the Sky) served as the character designer and chief animation director, and Hiroyuki Yoshino (Accel World, Guilty Crown, My-HiME) handled the scripts. Shiro Sagisu (Bleach, Evangelion, Berserk films) composed the music.

Manga is also releasing the third quarter of its virtual reality adventure Sword Art Online on Blu-ray (pictured left) and DVD. This volume carries episodes 15 to 19. The fourth and final volume is scheduled for March 31.

Manga is also releasing two further volumes of its ongoing series. It will release the sixth volume of Fairy Tail on both Blu-ray (right) and DVD, carrying episodes 61 to 72 of the series. It will also release the sixteenth box-set collection of Naruto Shippūden (left) on DVD, carrying episodes 193 to 205 of the series.
