Previous Fairy Tail Gaiden: Rhodonite spinoff ended in March

Kodansha's "Magazine Pocket" app launched the first chapter of the Fairy Tail Gaiden: Raigō Issen manga on Wednesday. The spinoff manga by Kyōta Shibano focuses on the character Laxus Dreyar from Hiro Mashima's Fairy Tail manga.

Shibano started the Fairy Tail Gaiden: Rhodonite spinoff manga in "Magazine Pocket" last November, and ended it on March 30. That previous manga centered on Gajeel Redfox.

Shibano debuted Fairy Tail Gaiden: Kengami no Sōryū (Fairy Tail Spinoff: Twin Dragons of Sabertooth) in the "Magazine Pocket" app last July as a part of the app's launch. Kodansha released the manga in one compiled volume in Japan in January. Kodansha Comics will publish the compiled volume in English this fall.
