Aksys Games to Release Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st], Drive Girls, Creeping Terror, More

Aksys Games revealed on Saturday during its panel at Anime Expo that it will release the following video games:
- Ninja Usagimaru: Two Tails of Adventure for PlayStation Vita
- Creeping Terror for Nintendo 3DS eShop, Steam
- Drive Girls for PlayStation Vita
- Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita
- School Girls/Zombie Hunter for PlayStation 4
- Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk for Nintendo 3DS
Aksys Games will release Ninja Usagimaru: Two Tails of Adventure on the PS Vita digitally only on July 7. Arc System Works and FK Digital had announced the video game collection on Wednesday, noting that the game would have English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese text options. The collection includes the Ninja Usagimaru: The Gem of Blessings and Ninja Usagimaru: The Mysterious Karakuri Castle games.

Ninja Usagimaru: Two Tails of Adventure is an action puzzle game that challenges players to put their sharpened ninja skills to the test! Players assume the role of Usagimaru, a legendary hero who embarks on a massive quest to save a village from the clutches of vile monsters.Enjoy the beautiful Wafu world and two warm stories! There are adorable pixel arts, simple control, challenging puzzles, in up to 130 stages!

Creeping Terror is Aksys Games' first horror title and it is slated for this fall. Mebius and Nikkatsu released the action adventure game for Nintendo 3DS in Japan on January 18. The game's official English website describes the story:
A player maneuvers the high school girl, Arisa, to explore "cave", "tunnel", and "old mansion". The story begins with the arrival of Arisa and her friends at an old mansion where a monster is believed to lurk. Later, Arisa comes to her sense in the cave and finds herself alone. She has no way of knowing a fate awaiting her.
Aksys Games will release Drive Girls on August 11. Tamsoft released the PS Vita game in Japan on January 26. Rising Star Games released the game in Europe digitally and physically on June 9, and it describes the game:
In a world where humans can transform into automobiles, the Drive Girls are ready to hit the road and save the day!Play as five different Drive Girls and transform from superheroine to supercar and back again, as you smash through wave after wave of mechanised Bug enemies attacking your home of Sun Island.
An action and driving hack ‘n’ slash hybrid, Drive Girls features an epic single player campaign as well as local and online multiplayer for up to four players.
Arc System Works will release the home console version for Ecole Software and French-Bread's Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] arcade fighting game in Japan on July 20 on the PS4, and Aksys Games will release it in late 2017. The game will also be available for download on PS4, PS3, and PS Vita on the same day.
Aksys Games will release the game physically and digitally for the PS4, and digitally only for the PS3 and PS Vita.
The arcade version of the game launched on July 23, 2015 in Japan. Ecole Software and French-Bread (Melty Blood) developed the original Under Night In-Birth arcade game, which launched in Japan as an arcade game in 2012 and it was followed by an updated arcade game titled Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late in 2013. Arc System Works released a PS3 port of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late in Japan in 2014. Aksys Games released the game for PS3 in North America on February 24, 2015.
Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] is an updated version of Under Night In-Birth: Late Exe. The new version has added two new playable characters Mika and Phonon, for a total of 18 characters. The game also allows the player to use Nanase and Byakuya, who were previously only available in the console version of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late. The update also includes some balance changes to the game. The home version of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[st] will add Enkidu and Wagner.
Aksys Games will release School Girl/Zombie Hunter in late 2017. D3 Publisher and Tamsoft released the game in Japan on the PS4 on January 12, and D3 Publisher describes the story:
Schoolgirls fight for their lives in this action shooterSet in a school that has suddenly been overrun by zombies and cut off from the outside world, five schoolgirls fight for their lives in this action shooter which takes place in a similar setting to the popular Onechanbara series.
The schoolyard, gymnasium, and other areas within the isolated school grounds will become fierce battlefields as you evade and fight against the invading zombie hordes. Progress through missions using a variety of firearms from handguns to assault rifles and fight to the bitter end!
Also features a clothes ripping system where zombie attacks will destroy the characters' clothing!

Aksys Games will release Jake Hunter: Ghost of the Dusk in 2018. Arc System Works will release the game in Japan on the Nintendo 3DS on August 31. The game is a new work that celebrates the 30th anniversary of the Jake Hunter (Tantei Jinguji Saburō) detective game series. Arc System Works had announced in February that it acquired the rights to the game franchise, and that it was working on a new game for the Nintendo 3DS.
The series began in 1987 when Data East released Tantei Jingūji Saburō: Shinjuku Chūō Kōen Satsujin Jiken, the first game in the series, on the Nintendo Famicom. The series has since received various installments on consoles and phones. WorkJam began work on the series after Data East filed for bankruptcy in 2003. Aksys Games localized the Nintendo DS game Tantei Jingūji Saburō DS: Inishie no Kioku as Jake Hunter: Detective Chronicles in 2008, and rereleased the game under the title Jake Hunter Detective Story: Memories of the Past in 2009. The 2009 edition included more cases and new translations.
