Citrus Anime's 1st Promo Video Reveals Staff, More Cast, January Premiere

The official website for the television anime adaptation of Saburouta's Citrus yuri manga began streaming the anime's first promotional video on Friday.
The site also revealed one more cast member, a new visual, the show's staff, and the January 2018 premiere. The anime will air on Tokyo MX, AT-X, and BS Fuji.
Takeo Takahashi (Spice and Wolf, MAOYU, Hinako Note) is directing the series at studio Passione. Naoki Hayashi (Flip Flappers, D.C.III ~Da Capo III~ script) is overseeing the series scripts, and Izuro Ijuuin (Barakamon, Wagnaria!!3 animation director) is designing the characters and serving as chief animation director. Lantis is producing the music, and Infinite is producing the series.
The anime stars:
- Ayana Taketatsu as Yuzuko Aihara
- Minami Tsuda as Mei Aihara
- Yukiyo Fujii as Harumi Taniguchi, Yuzuko's classmate
- Yurika Kubo as Himeko Momokino, Mei's childhood friend and student council vice president
- Shiori Izawa as Matsuri Mizusawa, Yuzuko's childhood friend
- Ikumi Hayama as Kayo Maruta
Seven Seas is publishing the manga in North America, and it describes the story:
Yuzuko Aihara, a high school girl whose main interests are fashion, friends, and having fun, is about to get a reality check. Due to her mom's remarriage, Yuzu has transferred to a new all-girls school that is extremely strict. Her real education is about to begin.From day one, happy-go-lucky Yuzu makes enemies, namely the beautiful yet stern Student Council President Mei. So what happens when a dejected Yuzu returns home and discovers the shock of her life: that Mei is actually her new stepsister who has come to live with her? Even more surprising, when Mei catches Yuzu off guard and kisses her out of the blue, what does it all mean?
Saburouta launched the manga in Ichijinsha's Comic Yuri Hime magazine in 2012. Ichijinsha published the manga's seventh compiled book volume on June 16. The series' compiled volumes have more than 800,000 copies in print. Seven Seas published the sixth volume on August 22.
