Re:Zero OVA Reveals Subtitle, Visual, Fall 2018 Theatrical Release

Staff to reveal more details of "Memory Snow" OVA at AnimeJapan this month

The official website for the Re:Zero anime revealed on Tuesday the subtitle, a new key visual, and a fall 2018 theatrical release for the series' upcoming original video anime (OVA) episode. The OVA's subtitle is "Memory Snow."

The staff will reveal more information about the screenings at a stage event at AnimeJapan 2018 on March 25.

WHITE FOX is returning to animate the OVA. The returning cast includes Yūsuke Kobayashi as Subaru, Rie Takahashi as Emilia, and Inori Minase as Rem. A teaser video debuted in September.

Tappei Nagatsuki launched the original novel on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2012, and Kadokawa will publish the 16th novel in the series on March 24. Yen Press is publishing the light novel series in English, and is also releasing Daichi Matsuse's manga adaptation of the series, as well as the Re:Zero Ex spinoff light novel series.

The 25-episode Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World- anime adaptation premiered in April 2016. Crunchyroll streamed the series as it aired in Japan. Crunchyroll is also streaming both the Re:Zero ~Starting Break Time From Zero~ and Re:PETIT ~Starting Life in Another World from PETIT~ short anime spinoff series.

Funimation will release the anime on home video with an English dub this summer.
