'Dragon Ball Tour' Event Revealed for 7 Cities in U.S., Canada this Year

1st stop will be in San Diego in July

Bandai began streaming a video on Friday to announce that a host a "Dragon Ball Tour" event will take place in seven cities in the United States and Canada this year.

The event's first stop will be in San Diego in July. The official website will reveal other locations at a later date. The event will feature exclusive items, and one of the brands involved in the project is Tamashii Nations.

The Dragon Ball Super anime ended with its 131st episode on Sunday. A new GeGeGe no Kitarō anime will air in its timeslot starting on April 1, and is slated to run for 50+ episodes.

A new Dragon Ball Super film will open in Japan on December 14.

Toei Animation announced last week that is establishing a third department under its Anime Planning and Production Headquarters that will focus mainly on Dragon Ball projects. Shueisha, the publisher of Akira Toriyama's original Dragon Ball manga, similarly established a "Dragon Ball Room" to focus exclusively on the property in June 2016.
