Zoids Game App Ends Service After New Anime Premieres

The official website for Eighting's Zoids Field of Rebellion smartphone game for iOS and Android devices announced on Tuesday that the game will end service on July 27. An update added new content on Tuesday, and an update on June 18 will also add more content.
As of Tuesday, Zoid Gold is no longer available for purchase in the game. All users received 10,000 Zoid Gold for free to use before the game's service ends, and they will also be able to receive 3,000 Zoid Gold every day until service ends.
The game based on Takara Tomy's Zoids franchise launched in Japan on April 18, 2017.
The Zoids Wild anime will premiere on July 7 and will air on MBS and TBS on Saturdays at 6:30 a.m. Norihiko Sudo (Kenyū Densetsu Yaiba, ToHeart2, Pocket Monsters: Diamond & Pearl) is directing the anime at Oriental Light and Magic.
The Zoids Wild project also includes a new manga that launched in Shogakukan's Coro Coro Comic magazine on April 13, a new model kit line that will launch with the 3,000-yen (about $30) "ZW01 Wild Liger" and "ZW02 Gil Raptor" model kits in June, and a Nintendo Switch game. The Zoids Wild franchise will have an exclusive smartphone app that can be used to take pictures or footage of Zoids model kits, edit them, and then upload them to social media sites and video sites.
