Merc Storia Anime Reveals Full Title, October Premiere, New Visual

Anime about boy who journeys to restore memories of girl trapped in bottle

The official website for the television anime of Happy Elements' Merc Storia -Yujutsushi to Suzu no Shirabe~ smartphone role-playing game revealed the anime's visual and October premiere date on Friday. The anime will air on Tokyo MX, KBS Kyoto, BS11, and AT-X. It also revealed the anime's full title as Merc Storia -Mukiryoku no Shōnen to Bin no Naka no Shōjo- (Merc Storia: The Apathetic Boy and the Girl in a Bottle).

The fantasy strategy role-playing game is set in a world where humans and monsters co-exist. In the main story, a boy apprentice "Yujutsushi" (healer), with the power to heal those who clash, embarks on a journey to restore the memories of his friend Merc, a girl trapped in a bottle. The game then expands with different event stories in each country.

The game launched for iOS and Android devices in 2014.

Happy Elements' Last Period: the journey to the end of the despair also inspired a television anime that premiered on April 12. Crunchyroll streamed the anime as it aired in Japan.
