Arc System Works announced on Saturday the rest of the character roster for its upcoming release of the 2.0 update for the BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle crossover fighting game.

The newly announced characters include: Celica=A=Mercury (BlazBlue CentralFiction), Elizabeth (Persona 4 Arena), Tohru Adachi (Persona 4 Arena Ultimax), Hilda (Under Night In-Birth), and Susanoo (BlazBlue CentralFiction).

The previously announced new characters include: Yumi (Senran Kagura Estival Versus), Neo Politan (RWBY), Akatsuki (Akatsuki Blitzkampf), and Blitztank (Akatsuki Blitzkampf).

The expansion pack will launch on November 21 for US$24.99. The pack will add nine new fighters, a new scenario, and character interactions. Arc System Works will also release a "ver. 2.0 patch" at the same time with free balance adjustments.

The original PlayStation 4 and Switch game shipped in Japan and Asia in May 2018. Arc System Works America released the game with an English dub in North America in June 2018, and PQube released the game in Europe later that same month. The game also launched on Steam in June 2018.

The base game featured 20 characters, with 20 more characters available via DLC.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a crossover between Arc System Works' BlazBlue and Persona 4 Arena fighting games, French Bread's Under Night In-Birth game, and Rooster Teeth's RWBY franchise. The title is a two-versus-two game.

The PS4, Switch, and PC versions of the game received a major update in mid-May. The update added Heart Aino from Arcana Heart 3 LOVE MAX SIX STARS!!!!!!, Naoto Kurogane from BlazBlue Central Fiction, Kuma/Teddie from Persona 4 Arena, and Seth from Under Night In-Birth.

The game's arcade version launched in Japan on April 25.
