Manga based on original anime launched in April 2017

Shogakukan is listing Daiki Kase's sixth manga volume based on the Re:CREATORS anime as the last volume. Shogakukan will ship the volume on December 19.

Kase launched the manga in Shogakukan's Monthly Sunday GX magazine in February 2017. Shogakukan published the fifth volume on July 19.

The Re:CREATORS anime premiered in April 2017. The series streamed exclusively on Amazon Prime Video in Japan and on Amazon's now-defunct Anime Strike channel in the United States.

The show's site describes the story:

Humans have created many stories. Joy, sadness, anger, deep emotion. Stories shake our emotions, and fascinate us. However, these are only the thoughts of bystanders. But what if the characters in the story have "intentions"? To them, are we god-like existences for bringing their story into the world? Our world is changed. Mete out punishment upon the realm of the gods. In Re:CREATORS, everyone becomes a Creator.

Yūki Kase launched a separate spinoff manga titled Re:CREATORS One More! in Shogakukan's Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine in June 2017, and it ended in November 2017. Tatsuhiko Ida also drew another spinoff manga titled Chikujōin-san Hashagisugi (Chikujōin-san is Having Way Too Much Fun) in Shogakukan's Sunday Webry site from August 2017 to December 2017.
