Muse Asia announced on Thursday that it has licensed the 16bit Sensation: Another Layer and The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You anime. It will announce distribution details for both anime at a later date.

16bit Sensation: Another Layer, the television anime of Misato Mitsumi, Tatsuki Amazuyu, and Tamiki Wakaki's 16bit Sensation: Watashi to Minna ga Tsukutta Bishōjo Game (The Bishōjo Game Made by All of You and I) manga, will premiere in Japan on October 4.

The 16bit Sensation: Watashi to Minna ga Tsukutta Bishōjo Game manga follows Meiko Uehara, a college student who begins working part-time at a PC shop in 1992. However, this shop is a front for its actual business: an erotic game developer for bishōjo games. Due to the sudden departure of the staff, Meiko ends up as a sub-graphic artist — even though she has never drawn an adult illustration before. Her life as a creator begins as she strives to make an erotic game without snafus.

The anime will tell an original story.

The cast includes Aoi Koga as original protagonist Konoha Akisato, Atsushi Abe as Mamoru Rokuda, Ayako Kawasumi as Kaori Shimoda, and Yui Horie as Meiko Uehara.

Takashi Sakuma (Room Mate) is directing the anime at Silver. Original manga creator Tamiki Wakaki is penning the anime's original story alongside former Aquaplus writer Tatsuya Takahashi (Shizuku, Kizuato, White Album, To Heart, Comic Party). Masakatsu Sasaki (Saki, We Never Learn: BOKUBEN, Tonikawa: Over the Moon For You) is designing the characters. Yashikin (My First Girlfriend is a Gal, My Sister, My Writer, Anime De Training! Xx!) is composing the music. Satoshi Motoyama is the sound director.

100-girlfriends
The television anime of Rikito Nakamura and Yukiko Nozawa's The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You (Kimi no koto ga Dai Dai Dai Dai Daisuki na 100-nin no Kanojo) manga will premiere in Japan on October 8.

The series stars:

Wataru Katō as Rentaro Aijo
Kaede Hondo as Hakari Hanazono
Miyu Tomita as Karane Inda
Maria Naganawa as Shizuka Yoshimoto
Asami Seto as Nano Eiai
Ayaka Asai as Kusuri Yakuzen
Shigeru Chiba as God (Kami-sama)

Hikaru Sato (Dropkick on My Devil!) is directing the series at Bibury Animation Studio. Takashi Aoshima (Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out!) is in charge of the series scripts. Akane Yano (Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki) is designing the characters. Shuhei Mutsuki, Shunsuke Takizawa, and eba are composing the music at Lantis.

Seven Seas Entertainment is releasing the manga in English, and it describes the story:

Aijo Rentaro tried and tried again, but after asking a hundred girls out on a date, he was rejected every single time. In desperation, he prays for guidance...only to be told by a god that his rejections were due to some cosmic error! Now the god is going to set things right by making sure that Aijo gets one hundred dates. Except, as things often do with gods, the dates come with a catch: one hundred girls are destined to be Aijo's soulmate, and unless he returns their feelings each and every time, they'll die in horrible accidents! Sure enough, girls start confessing their love to Aijo left and right. But how is he supposed to choose?! He doesn't want to kill anyone! When he looks at each potential soulmate, it feels like a bolt of lightning. Can someone really love a hundred other people? This hilarious romantic comedy takes the harem concept to a wild extreme!
