Beauty Pop Manga Returns With New Sequel Series
posted on by Anita Tai

The series is set after the events of the original story and after Kiri and Narumi are married. The other members of the Scissors Project visit the couple and curiously ask Kiri why she married Narumi.
Arai's original Beauty Pop series ran in Shogakukan's Ciao magazine from 2003-2007. Shogakukan published all ten volumes of the series. Viz Me4dia published the series in English.
The series briefly entered a hiatus and returned under the title Beauty Pop Stage 2, but Shogakukan later compiled the chapters under the Beauty Pop title for publication.
Arai served as a judge for the 60th Shogakukan Awards in 2015.
Arai launched the Yomogi Mochi Yake Ta? (Did You Burn Your Mugwort Mochi?) manga in Shogakukan's ChuChu shōjo magazine in 2008. Shogakukan published the fourth and final volume in 2010.
