U.K. Blu-rays of Helck and The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army Released on Monday

The television anime adaptation of Nanaki Nanao's Helck manga was screened in the summer 2023 season. Nanao was credited for the original work and Shō Kobayashi was credited with original work cooperation. Tatsuo Satō (Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne, Martian Successor Nadesico) directed the anime at Satelight. Toshizo Nemoto and Mitsutaka Hirota was in charge of the scenario, and Yoshinori Deno designed the characters for animation. Yoshihisa Hirano composed the music.

The series is the television anime of Ryousuke Hata, original character designer Kuma, and manga artist Anajiro's Maō-gun Saikyō no Majutsushi wa Ningen Datta (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human) manga. Happinet specifically stated the anime was adapting the manga adaptation of the original light novel series.
Norihiko Nagahama (episode director for Black Butler, Gintama, Laid-Back Camp) directed the series at Studio A-Cat. Tōko Machida (Battle Game in 5 Seconds, The IDOLM@STER, My Master Has No Tail) oversaw the series scripts, Masami Sueoka (I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills) was the character designer, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO (Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS, Kingdom, Chained Soldier) composed the music KOHTA YAMAMOTO feat. Shun Ikegai perform the opening theme song "Ctrl C."
