U.K. Blu-rays of Helck and The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army Released on Monday

On Monday August 4, Anime Limited will release a Blu-ray edition of the 24-part series Helck. The series is described as follows:

"The tournament to replace the recently vanquished Demon Lord has begun, but overseer Vermilio suspects that one of the contestants, Helck, is not what he seems. Why? Because he's human, just like the Hero who killed the last Demon Lord. Yes, the big brute claims to hate his own kind, but is he telling the truth? Or is this a sinister plot against demon kind? And even when Vermilio manipulates the games against him, Helck keeps winning, forcing her to become more personally involved in both the games and the mysteries surrounding its frontrunner. She must know. She must find out. What secrets lurk in the past of Helck?"

The television anime adaptation of Nanaki Nanao's Helck manga was screened in the summer 2023 season. Nanao was credited for the original work and Shō Kobayashi was credited with original work cooperation. Tatsuo Satō (Lagrange - The Flower of Rin-ne, Martian Successor Nadesico) directed the anime at Satelight. Toshizo Nemoto and Mitsutaka Hirota was in charge of the scenario, and Yoshinori Deno designed the characters for animation. Yoshihisa Hirano composed the music.

Crunchyroll will release the 12-part series The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human. The series is described as follows:

"With his mastery of magic, Ike has risen in the Demon Lord's army by conquering fortresses and leading the Undying Brigade. But this magician holds a dark secret - he's a human! Will his acts of mercy reveal the truth? Or can he keep it all behind the mask?"

The series is the television anime of Ryousuke Hata, original character designer Kuma, and manga artist Anajiro's Maō-gun Saikyō no Majutsushi wa Ningen Datta (The Strongest Magician in the Demon Lord's Army was a Human) manga. Happinet specifically stated the anime was adapting the manga adaptation of the original light novel series.

Norihiko Nagahama (episode director for Black Butler, Gintama, Laid-Back Camp) directed the series at Studio A-Cat. Tōko Machida (Battle Game in 5 Seconds, The IDOLM@STER, My Master Has No Tail) oversaw the series scripts, Masami Sueoka (I've Somehow Gotten Stronger When I Improved My Farm-Related Skills) was the character designer, and KOHTA YAMAMOTO (Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS, Kingdom, Chained Soldier) composed the music KOHTA YAMAMOTO feat. Shun Ikegai perform the opening theme song "Ctrl C."

Anime Limited will release its second Collector's Blu-ray edition of the original Bleach series. It will contain Bleach Set 6, carrying episodes 140 to 167 of the series. It will also contain an outer box that will hold the upcoming Bleach Sets 7 to 9, which will be released separately. It will also include a 104-page art book and three art cards.

In addition, Anime Limited will release a separate standard Blu-ray edition of Bleach Set 6, pictured left. The set is described as follows:

"The Soul Reapers' battle continues to rage as Ichigo and his friends manage to drive off Grimmjow and the rest of the Arrancars. But with this fight over, a new threat emerges as Orihime is taken hostage by Sosuke Aizen. Crunchyroll will also release a Blu-ray of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime Season 3 Part 1, carrying episodes 49 to 60 of the series. The Blu-ray is described as follows:

"After Clayman's defeat, Rimuru returns home to learn Diablo has healed Falmuth's nobles, securing their alliance with Tempest. Meanwhile, Hinata grows wary of Rimuru's rising power and battles him - unaware a powerful organization is manipulating her."

MVM will release two separate Blu-ray volumes of the Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works, with the first 13 episodes on Part 1 (right) and parts 14 to 25 on Part 2 (below left). The first volume is described as follows:

"The Holy Grail War has begun. An ancient ritual, seven masters and their seven holy servants fight to the death. It's said the winner who possesses the Holy Grail is granted any wish they desire.
