The Loser is the First Lady Webtoon Gets Live-Action Series Adaptation

Jadam Media, a Korean production company specializing in webtoons and web novels, announced on August 19 that it has signed a live-action series adaptation deal with Cross Pictures for The Loser is the First Lady, a webtoon currently serialized every Thursday on Naver Webtoon.
The story follows married lawmakers Hyun-woo Kwak (a conservative) and Jae-ryung Cho (a progressive), whose opposing political beliefs and lifestyles make them both the closest and most distant of partners. When a massive bribery scandal breaks ahead of the 21st presidential election, the couple suddenly finds themselves standing before the public not as husband and wife, but as rival candidates for president. The fate of becoming the "first spouse" rests on the one who loses.
Cross Pictures, known for successful webtoon-based adaptations such as Business Proposal and The Sound of Your Heart, will head production.
