Niuhi Making Global Manga at Comitia
August 21, 2025ーKOMODO is thrilled to announce that NIUHI, the next-gen manga platform where fans around the world can discover, purchase, sell, and translate manga and comics, is returning to the COMITIA expo in Tokyo, Japan.
This time, we're bringing even more energy, creativity, and ways for fans to get involved.
Headlining the booth activities is a live drawing session by Hifumi, an award winning Japanese manga artist known for Now Playing and The 47 Great War!
In this special live performance, Hifumi will illustrate four beloved characters from The 47 Great War Plus right before your eyes ー but with a twist.Their costumes will be decided entirely by fans through a voting campaign on the official NIUHI Japanese X account. Starting today, polls will open for each character, with new voting opportunities every two days until all four are revealed.

While Hifumi has been active at regional events, this marks her long-awaited return to a Tokyo event, making this COMITIA appearance even more special.
Visitors at the NIUHI booth will also have the chance to try NIUHI and meet with representatives from KOMODO about publishing on, translating, and joining the next generation platform.
