'Pass the Monster Meat, Milady!' TV Anime Reveals 6 More Cast Members, October 2 Debut in New Video

The official website for the television anime of Kanata Hoshi's Pass the Monster Meat, Milady! (Akujiki Reijō to Kyōketsu Kōshaku: Sono Mamono, Watashi ga Oishiku Itadakimasu!) light novel series revealed the show's main promotional video on Friday, alongside six new cast members, a new visual, and the show's October 2 debut.

The anime will debut on October 2 at 25:28 a.m. (effectively October 3 at 1:28 a.m.) on TBS, and will air on October 3 on BS11.

The new cast members include (name romanizations not confirmed):

• Takashi Kondō as Kauss Laforg
• Nobuhiko Okamoto as Mullan Sero
• Ryōhei Kimura as Maxim du Livastal Mild Langtias
• Shin Furukawa as Anbry Shal
• Daisuke Hirakawa as Zeff Senjin
• Toshiki Masuda as Claude Fole

Kanna Nakamura plays Melphiera Marchalrayd, while Taito Ban plays Aristide of Galbraith.

Mutsumi Takeda (B-PROJECT Passion*Love Call) is directing the anime at Asahi Production. Keiichirō Ōchi (The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, The Quintessential Quintuplets) is overseeing the series scripts, and Masato Katō (Peach Boy Riverside, Giant Beasts of Ars) is the character designer. Takaaki Nakahashi (Peach Boy Riverside, The Too-Perfect Saint: Tossed Aside by My Fiancé and Sold To Another Kingdom) is composing the music at Nichion.

Idol group AVAM will perform the opening theme song "Sugary Story," and Shunichi Toki will perform the ending theme song "Kibō Kōdo."

Kodansha USA Publishing releases the light novels' manga adaptation by Chika Mizube in print. Kodansha's K MANGA service simultaneously releases the manga digitally and describes the story:

Melphiera is an earl's daughter who's shunned by most of the nobility, thanks to rumors about her proclivity for monster-based cuisine. When she attends a party in hopes of finding someone to wed, she's attacked by a vicious monster—only to be saved by Aristide of Galbraith, feared as the “Blood-Mad Duke.” He begins to take a liking to Melphiera…and before long, he's even interested in the “hobby” she never dared to tell anyone else! Love, battle, and great cuisine await in this romantic fantasy!

Hoshi launched the story on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website in 2019. Kodansha published the first light novel volume with illustrations by Peperon in April 2021, and the third volume in April 2023.

Mizube launched the manga adaptation in pixiv's "Palcy" manga app in 2021. The manga's 10th compiled book volume shipped in Japan on April 30.
