Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill Season 2 Anime Gets Hindi Dub on November 12

Crunchyroll streams Tamil, Telugu dubs of anime season on December 3

Crunchyroll announced on Friday that it will stream the Hindi dub of the second season of the anime based on Ren Eguchi and illustrator Masa's Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill (Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hōrō Meshi) light novel series on November 12. It will stream the Tamil and Telugu dubs of the anime season on December 3.

The second season of Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill premiered on October 7. Crunchyroll is streaming the anime season in India as it airs in Japan. Muse Asia is also streaming the anime in India as it airs in Japan as is Netflix, Amazon Prime Video's Anime Times, and JioHotstar.

In the new season, Ayumu Murase voices Dra-chan, the pixie dragon who joins Mukōda's party after being drawn in by the scent of his cooking.

Most of the staff is returning for the new season, but Tsuyoshi Kuwahara (Twittering Birds Never Fly: The Clouds Gather) joins Nao Ōtsu on character designs. Shiho Tanaka and Eriko Itō replace Nao Ōtsu and Sara Sakoe as chief animation directors. Episode director Kenji Takahashi (Spy×Family, 2025's The Rose of Versailles) is now the assistant director. Tomoki Nagino takes over the art direction from Hisako Akagi, who is now credited for art supervision. Kana Tanabe replaces Chikako Kamata as the color key artist. The company BAX is credited for cuisine supervision. Kodai Kato is promoted from production desk to animation producer. MAPPA remains the animation production studio.

The first anime season premiered by streaming exclusively in Japan on Amazon Prime Video and Hikari TV in January 2023. Muse Asia streamed the first season of the anime in India as it aired in Japan. The Muse India YouTube channel then streamed episodes of the anime with Hindi subtitles in roman script. Netflix later added the anime in India. Crunchyroll is streaming the season in India in Japanese and with an English dub. Muse India added a Hindi dub of the season in November 2024.

Eguchi started publishing the novels on the "Shosetsuka ni Narō" website in 2016, and Overlap is publishing the novels in print. Overlap is also publishing K Akagishi's manga adaptation in Japan, as well as Momo Futaba's Tondemo Skill de Isekai Hōrō Meshi: Sui no Daibōken spinoff manga.

J-Novel Club is releasing both the light novel series and K Akagishi's manga adaptation in English.
