Izuku Midoriya Joins The Fight As My Hero Ultra Rumble Season 13 Launches Today

Season 13 Adds the Popular Anime Series' Main Protagonist to the Roster Along with Additional Costumes, Second-Anniversary Content and More

IRVINE, Calif. – Sept. 24, 2025 – Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced the launch of Season 13 for MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE Season 13, the free-to-play multiplayer Battle Royale game inspired by the hit anime series. This free update adds the series' main hero, Izuku Midoriya, as a playable character, along with a limited time gasha “Special Anniversary Roll,” new costumes and more. Players can now play as Izuku “Deku” Midoriya, the Ninth successor of One For All. He can boost his speed with Gearshift, delivering unpredictably powerful attacks to his opponents. Using Quirk Skills, he can fire off even stronger techniques such as “Detroit Smash Quintuple” and “5th Gear Overdrive Detroit Smash.” Izuku Midoriya also wields special actions tied to past One For All inheritors: the Third's “Fa Jin” and the Sixth's “Smoke Screen.”

Season 13 also introduces a limited time gasha, “Special Anniversary Roll,” offering the features below:

• Players can select eight Battle Styles, increasing the chance of obtaining one of the chosen styles.
  
• Implemented as a single draw gasha that guarantees one of your selected pickups. (One ticket allows one single draw.)
  
• Selectable Battle Styles are from Season 12 or earlier (including Gasha-exclusive, Original, and Alternative types).

Additionally, an additional gasha called “Hot Picks Select Roll” will be available, boosting the drop rate for eight Battle Styles from Season 12 or earlier. Players will receive one ticket per week as a login bonus; over eight weeks, that's eight tickets for a total of 80 free draws. Additional costumes will be available, including “Izuku Midoriya OFA One For All Final Battle Ver.”, while Bakugo's “Strafe Panzer” and Ochaco's “Superstar Idol” return as re-releases. In the second half of Season 13, All For One (Young) draws near—evil incarnate ascends to a golden age! Unleash your awakened Quirk and dominate. Become a Hero or Villain in MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE and join a three-member team to battle against seven other teams on expansive citywide maps. Fans can take on the roles of classic MY HERO characters such as Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, All Might, Tomura Shigaraki, Himiko Toga, and more using their Quirks, superhuman abilities, to attack enemies or support and cooperate with their teammates to survive fights. Players can now team up and rumble across all devices with the addition of cross-play compatibility.
