Seven Seas Licenses Printernia Nippon Manga Series

(September 24, 2025) — Seven Seas Entertainment is excited to announce the license acquisition of the manga series Printernia Nippon by Maigo. A cozy story about a man living in the future and the strange creature he printed out!

In the not-so-distant future, Japan continues to make extraordinary discoveries and advancements, including the ability to print your own companion! With a bio-printer, anyone can have the critter of their dreams. Well, assuming it prints correctly, that is. Unfortunately for Sato, while trying to print a Shiba Inu, an error results in a totally different creature—one that has never been seen before! Sato has no idea what he's created or how to care for it, but despite the oddities, he's endeared by the squishy and soft cutie. Even his friend is charmed by the odd, loaf-shaped pet and gives it the perfect name: Mochimochi! 

But when Sato learns that there are others like Mochi, their social circle begins to grow–leaving them with more questions about this peculiar printed pal. 

Printernia Nippon Vol. 1 will be printed for the first time in the English language in September 2026 for $14.99 USA / $18.99 CAN, with the series available in single large-trim editions. Ebook editions will also be available on digital platforms.
