wow that's insane a total of 5,785,606 copies for manga adaptation of a Light Novel. And The Slime manga boosts doesn't seem to even stop. it may even be close to dethroning 1st half of yearly sales and take 1st spot over One Piece.

Once One Piece ends, I wonder if The Promised Neverland will take its spot as part of the Big Three. A lot of people are talking about it and I have heard nothing but good things about it. I might follow it some day myself.

Well the promised neverland is a series where it has limited lifespan. The way the series is set-up it's not something that can last too long. One of the authors has already stated they don't want to extend it too much. It's likely gonna end before One Piece. If there's anytime to start getting into it, it's now.

Sounds like that answers my question then. In that case, we're likely waiting for a new manga around that time to replace One Piece like how My Hero Academia filled that spot for Naruto and Black Clover for Bleach.
