Congrats, guys, on once again cracking the Top 5. You deserve it.
BTW, my site came in at #11. /me shakes fist at Cookie and Tempest. We'll crack the Top 5 next year, I swear it! |

I find it kinda funny that Anipike....a website that has blatantly been ignored by the webmaster (whoever he/she may be now) is still in the top 5. It's impossible to submit links nowadays and half the ones that are there are broken. It'a rather sad since it used to be a great site in it's heyday.

The listing (with editorial content) is here: [url]http://www.animefringe.com/magazine/2003/01/feature/02/[url] Here's a brief rundown of the top 11: #11 Anime Academy (http://www.animeacademy.com/) #10 Anime Jump! (http://www.animejump.com/) #09 AnimeNfo - A Project-On.Net Network (http://www.animenfo.com/) #08 AnimeOnline (http://www.animeonline.net/) #07 Macross World (http://www.macrossworld.com/) #06 Anime News Service (http://www.animenewsservice.com/) #05 AnimeNation (http://www.animenation.com/) #04 Yu-Gi-Oh! Dungeon (http://www.yugioh-dungeon.com/) #03 Anime Web Turnpike (http://www.anipike.com/) #02 Anime News Network (www.animenewsnetwork.com/) #01 Anime On DVD (http://www.animeondvd.com/) Sites that reported AnimeFringe's contest typically did better than those that did not; those they reported the AF contest update (there was an error in the initial release) also fared better than those who did not. Sites with forums or chat channels also tended to do better than those without. Just an interesting side-note. |
