You keep calling me a misogynist without even knowing who or what I'm about. You don't know my stance on anything and I can tell you, I don't hate or dislike women in any way. You prove your own ignorance by seeming to think you know how everyone in this thread thinks. I don't have an issue with feminism or you, I have an issue with your overzealous attitude of being right. The fact is, everyone has an opinion, and like an asshole they all stink. Yours and mine included. The fact you come into this thread claiming you're so righteous and everyone else is worthless is what has everyone in the thread up in arms. The way you present yourself is absolutely worthless, even more so than the "puerile piece of oversexed dreck" you're trying to put down. |

I am. Have you considered spending all this time and energy donating your resources to places that actually help further the cause of women's rights and defend their increasingly-endangered civil liberties, rather than complaining about Dumb Offensive Sexist Pop Culture Crap for Frustrated Manchildren #84746? Because one of those is helpful and actually furthers your cause and the other is yelling into a void. |

I am a 17-year-old high school student, Zac. I have no job, no car. My dad is a hard-right wing conservative and would probably disown me if I did such a thing. I don't really have options here.

It's easier to change yourself than it is to change the world. Focus that energy on improving yourself and your lot in life. Then you will have options. Sorry that's off topic, but I felt it had to be said. |

Chagen I know exactly what you feel like because I had father that felt the same way but on African Americans. The best piece of advice that I can give you is this, start up a word-press, blogger account and write how you feel on these issues. I really recommend opening up a twitter account and talk to like minded people on there. Share you works that you would happen to write up and express the problems/issues you have with certain issues of sexism/misogamy. I do realize that this just scratching the surface of helping the entire cause. Still if you can get among like minded people it will help you out tremendously. |
