since it is not a remake Usagi is not supposed to be as klutz and childish as the 4 previous seasons so why recasting Mitsuishi-san . . ?!

Plus, she lent her voice for the figuart commercial ! She will fill up her role again !

So freaking exciting ! I'm reborn ahah

Voice actors can do many different voices and act in many different ways, you know.
And who's saying Usagi won't be a childish klutz?

It says it won't be a remake of the anime but it could be a new adaptation of the manga's first arc still, just sticking closer to the source material I believe they've indicated that in the past. So sort of like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood.

He also indicated that the new anime would not be a remake of the earlier Sailor Moon anime.

What? Why not a remake? What new material could they possibly give us?

There's alotta stuff from SM R and other seasons that weren't animated. SuperS has an entire arc that stars the Outer Senshi that was never animated. I'm super excited and curious to see what's gonna happen this time around.

Mitsuishi-san getting recast isn't the worst thing ever, but she was awesome as Usagi.. I really hope most of the original seiyuu cast is back. They were phenomenal too. I guess we shall see! I hope a fansub'll be out soon after each ep airs.

It's streaming worldwide on NicoNico Douga if they have sense they'll sub it too as an option then we won't need fansubs. Personally I'm hoping for a dub I'd love to hear an accurate dub of something Sailor Moon related. Also if they get as far as Stars but stick to the manga so the Sailor Starlights are female 100% of the time and only pose as male as the Three Lights I think they could get away with that now.. after all that SheZow! show airs on The Hub to decent ratings according to it's creator.

I don't think it'll be dubbed straight away, but perhaps a few months down the line?

I wonder who's on the staff and what time it'll premiere. It better be during the time when all the kids are awake!

Isn't it supposed to be aimed towards the older audience?

I don't think we know what audience they are aiming for.

Though I find it unlikely that Toei will set it up as a direct competitor with Precure.

With worldwide streaming, it will definitely be subbed. This won't be the first time Nico Nico has done a worldwide stream of an anime:

Wait, they actually made their sex confusing in the anime for no reason?

Yes.

Though the Starlights are definitely female, regardless.
