I like to think I'm pretty smart, but this series always go "whoosh" right over my head. This is like an anime version of one of those sophisticated talky movies. Or reading Shakespeare.
As someone on the spectrum, I have terrible social awareness, and this anime. I can't see through all the layers like Hiki. Not even a little bit. I need to read the ANN reviews for hints and then rewatch the episodes. I don't know if this series is realistic, because high school was just a confusing blur for me. Actually socializing is still confusing blur. At least with this series, I feel like I can step outside of my comfort zone. You know, without actually stepping outside of my comfort zone.[/quote] |
