Well now..this was kind of unexpected. I'd prefer another season to be adapted from the manga but I'm fine with a film as well.

Didn't see that one coming. I wonder if it'll be an original story or if they'll adapt another arc on the manga. None of the arcs so far seem short enough for a movie though

Oh i hope this a movie version of the next arc....The Campania arc. Book of Murder was fully adapted in 2 ova which if u put them together would be the same length as an average anime movie.

Oh god i hope so.

Sooooooooo looking forward to this!

I was at a different event today so I couldn't go to a live viewing of MBS Anime Fes where this was announced. =(

Gonna wonder if it's the Campania arc, it's a fun read...

Something tells me that this will be an original movie (no manga canon) designed to conclude the anime franchise. I hope it is good.

Bet this movie will be as irrelevant to the series as half of Kuroshitsuji and the so called II as far as anime movies go.

I'm still waiting on the season 3 dub. Funimation already has the cast, what are they waiting for?

Love this idea! Although I also wonder how close to canon it's going to be.

Hopefully Funi picks it up upon release and maybe even do a limited theater run. I'd love to see it on the big screen if I could.

There's really no need to conclude it. There are three more finished manga arcs, including the really long school arc which likely would need an anime adaption. Instead, it could be another trimmed down remake of the first season so non-readers can be on the same page as readers. Though more likely it's just the Campania arc as people have been saying. It's perfect for theaters since it's likely the most action packed arc and has a simple, exciting plot.

I actually enjoyed that arc, as much as I did the Circus arc as well which was my favourite before the Academy arc began. I do hope they don't do another anime-original movie like they did half of the first season and the whole of the 2nd season (which I never finished for obvious reasons that it just wasn't that interesting of a show - though I supposed it concluded that first season ending in a way so it's not so bad?)

Anyways, I wanna cross my fingers for that Campania arc. Anime hyper
