I noticed yesterday that my subscription was due in 2 days, so I paid it through Paypal. When Paypal redirected me back to ANN, I received an error message that the system was unable to process my subscription and that an email would be sent to webmaster. Not sure what happened but I want to make sure I keep my subscriber status since I did Paypal it yesterday. Thanks!

I also got the same error message. But I got a receipt from Paypal confirming the payment.

Thankfully I didn't delete mine and have that as well. Must be something going on from the backside of things. Hopefully it is resolved soon as I expire tomorrow.

Did you check to see if your expiry date had been updated?

I still have the two yellow !! next to My ANN and get: Your current subscription will expire in 1 day, 8 hours. If you re-subscribe now, the subscription will be added on top of your remaining time.

Well, at least they have gone back to giving a warning. For a while there was no notice. I've got about six weeks left on mine so let me know how it works out.

I'm having sort of the same issue as geishageek with one difference: I can see on the site itself that my subscription renewal did go through (I re-upped for a year). I still see the double yellow exclamation points warning me my subscription is expiring soon and I see a band of ads near the bottom of the page. So far those are the only signs of abnormality I have noticed. The ads aren't a huge deal but part of the benefit of being a subscriber is that you're not supposed to see them at all.

Having a bit of trouble figuring out what's wrong with Paypal.
geishageek, I extended your subscription by a few days until I can get this fixed.

@Blood-
Are the ads you see at the bottom of the page Tokyo Otaku Mode?
I'm seeing them too though my subscription is still ongoing and I have that turned off. It is all figures so it is not a real problem but it does seem funny to see it. I think I'm getting used to it as it is anime related and not intrusive like other ad streams. If it goes away I'll probably turn it back on.

Since this is taking a while, anyone who is having this problem, please forward your receipt from Paypal to acct [at] anime...com and I'll manually extend your subscription.
Please include your ANN account name.
